One of our all time favourites, the Monstera Deliciosa is a must have for your indoor plant collection. This quirky plant is perfect for a larger space or sitting in the corner of a room. The consensus is they prefer bright light, but we have also seen them be very accomodating to low light, so as a rule aim for 4-6 hours of indirect sun. Monstera Deliciosa in Melbourne Care

Size:

Indoor plants can reach 4-5m in height and 2-3m in width in the right condtions.

Sunlight:

Filtered, indirect sunlight

Water:

Every 1-2 weeks (keep the soil moist) in the spring and summer. Water once a month in the winter.

Temperature:

20°C-29°C, humid conditions are ideal, we suggest misting the plant once a week

Soil:

Potting soil with good drainage and high organic content.

Fertiliser:

Fertilise during growing season with a slow release fertiliser.

Planter:

Use a pot with drainage hole. Keep in a smaller pot to restrict growth.

Toxicity:

Toxic to dogs, cats and humans.
